TVH in Olathe, KS seeks a Compliance Advisor - Customs & Trade Compliance to guide internal teams on routine and complex trade issues. You will monitor import/export regulations, support audits, and help align processes across a global assurance function.

Role emphasizes structured guidance, incident analysis, and ongoing governance. Hybrid work is available, with a focus on regulatory awareness and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in an international trade, customs, trade compliance, legal, or audit-adjacent role within a structured global business environment.
• General understanding of trade and regulatory frameworks such as C-TPAT, export controls, origin management, or product conformity.
• Comfortable working with standard reporting templates, tracking systems, and compliance databases to log and analyze trade data.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice and recommendations to internal clients regarding straightforward customs and trade compliance issues.
• Analyze trade and import/export situations to ensure timely information for internal decision-making.
• Identify, investigate, and advise on patterned customs compliance risks and incidents.
• Utilize current trade regulatory systems and templates to prepare accurate findings for risk insight.
• Gather, track, and register trade compliance findings and support requests across regions.
• Maintain accessible trade records to support audits and ongoing actions.
