Job summary

Wayve in Leonberg is seeking a Customer Integration Engineer to support customers through the development and validation lifecycle. You will ensure responsive, high-quality technical support and collaborate with customer teams and Wayve engineers to integrate our AI driver into vehicles.

Based near customers, you will perform rapid diagnostics, distinguish between vehicle and software issues, and contribute to a holistic understanding of the system.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to lead investigations into platform or vehicle issues in collaboration with teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with development vehicles.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and calibration tools (e.g. CANape).
• Willingness to develop basic programming skills.
• Solid understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to customers throughout the development and validation process.
• Bridge between customer vehicle integration teams and Wayve’s internal engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our technology independently.
• Escalate complex or critical issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Develop deep understanding of customer systems and APIs to guide internal teams.
• Maintain a system-level perspective to identify root causes, whether vehicle-based or software-related.
