Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a CT technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT procedures with emphasis on radiation safety. The role requires ARRT registration in radiography, CT post-primary within 2 years, and experience in diagnostic radiography or CT.

The position may involve hybrid or mobile/remote work at the department's discretion, and candidates must meet licensure and verification requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ARRT Certification and Registration in Radiography (R) upon hire.
• ARRT (CT) Post Primary certification should be achieved within 2 years of hiring or transferring, with initial exam within 12 months.
• Reasonable experience in diagnostic radiography or CT.
• Primary Source Verification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality Diagnostic CT procedures with radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Identify and administer correct contrast media per protocol; draw up sterile contrast media.
• Maintain knowledge of universal precautions and related safety practices.
• Respond to patients' changes in condition (airway, heart rate, consciousness, seizures).
