Job summary

Compeer Financial, a member-owned cooperative serving Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin, seeks a Crop Insurance Operations Associate in a hybrid role based out of Janesville, WI. You will support crop insurance sales, maintain client relationships, and ensure accurate processing of applications, reports and claims.

You will manage data entry in AIP systems and Salesforce, collaborate with the sales team, and participate in sales events while advancing cross-sell opportunities and staying current

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid crop insurance license or ability to obtain one within three months from time of hire.
• Entry-level experience in insurance or agricultural field preferred.
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational/time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Onbase and AIP systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients; serve as a key liaison.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients and address inquiries/issues.
• Review coverage and product information with clients to meet annual needs.
• Prepare and file crop insurance applications, reports, endorsements, and claims.
• Enter data into AIP systems and Salesforce; manage document indexing in Onbase.
• Support Crop Insurance Sales Team with cross-selling opportunities and event planning.
• Provide reports from Power BI to assist sales and ensure deadlines are met.
