Job summary

Lee & Associates is seeking a Staff Accountant for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area with a hybrid schedule in Cary, NC. The role handles day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close.

You will process accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare journal entries, reconcile bank and GL accounts, and support budgeting, CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and owner reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate / property management.
• Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software.
• Experience with CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and owner/financial reporting.
• Hybrid schedule in Cary, NC office; local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and monthly close for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Prepare owner financial packages, budget-to-actual, and CAM reconciliations
• Process AP/AR and tenant billing in Yardi; support audits and reporting
