Barrett & Co. seeks a full-time Accounting Associate for a hybrid role based in our Camas office, WA, with required travel to client sites for meetings and project work.

You will perform more complex phases of tax, audit, review, and compilation activities under supervision, gaining experience to advance in your career. The role offers team support, mentorship, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks and meet engagement deadlines.
• Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job learning and formal training.
• Prepare client reports and maintain clear, well-organized documentation.
• Assist in the evaluation and reporting of client internal accounting controls.
• Perform accounting research and respond to client inquiries.
