Job summary

CLA is seeking Tax/Audit Associates across Spokane, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Tri Cities, and Yakima locations. You will prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships while performing audit and assurance work and supporting client engagements.

The role offers growth through exposure to procedures, workpapers, and systems, with travel to client sites and a focus on collaboration and continuous learning. CPA eligibility and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting/finance preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
