Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a mid- to senior-level Coverage Litigation Attorney to handle complex insurance coverage disputes for insurer clients nationwide. The role combines litigation strategy with coverage advisory work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with opportunities for leadership.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of insurance coverage litigation experience, strong deposition and discovery skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters across state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• Admission to practice in New York (New Jersey admission preferred)
• 5–10 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
• Strong experience handling depositions and discovery
• State and federal court litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class actions
• Analyze insurance policies, claims, and coverage issues; provide coverage advice
• Conduct advanced legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings and mediations
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals
