The Hybrid Counselor is responsible for leading a group at Lake Stockwell Day Camp or serving as a lifeguard during the program day. They also assist with evening programming and other events at Overnight Camp. The role involves living in a cabin with up to 7 campers. This position is safety-sensitive.

  1. Provide instruction, supervision, and safety for campers in program areas and cabins.
  2. Assist campers in achieving their goals.
  3. Ensure supplies and resources are available for activities.
  4. Supervise and participate in all aspects of the campers’ day, including check-in, check-out, meals, activities, and evening duties.
  5. Attend and participate in All Staff Training.
  6. Must be 18 years or older.
  7. Previous camp experience or experience working with children is preferred.
  8. Ability to lead and instruct groups of campers.
  9. Knowledge of safety procedures, equipment care, inventory, skill instruction, and age-appropriate programming.
  10. Ability to identify age and grade level characteristics of campers.
  11. Training and certification will be provided during All Staff Training.

Compensation

USD $210.00 - USD $315.00 per week.
