Semtech is seeking a Cost Accountant to provide accounting and cost analysis in a hybrid Irvine, CA environment. You will support financial reporting, cost models, and manufacturing economics to drive profitability and cost competitiveness.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, Excel expertise, and collaboration across accounting and cost teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting. Prior semiconductor industry exposure is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial applications.
• Background in technology or manufacturing industry preferred.
• 2-5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or related roles.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing economics and cost structures.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, technologies, and cost drivers.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Preferred), cost modules, and analytical platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial statements.
• Support accounting interfaces with operations, engineering, and supply chain.
• Contribute to cost frameworks and models for decision-making.
• Aid in product and portfolio cost analysis and margin analysis.
• Support internal and external audit activities and documentation.
