Job summary

Edison International in Atlanta (hybrid) seeks a Corporate Financial Analyst to forecast and analyze the financial performance of a $16 billion revenue company, partnering with senior management and finance and strategy teams at EIX, SCE, and Edison Energy.

You will build and maintain financial models, perform variance analyses, support budgeting and long-term planning, and prepare materials for senior leaders and the Board.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in financial, quantitative, or operational analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead variance analyses across Edison International and subsidiaries, monitoring cash forecast and root causes of variances.
• Evaluate historical and projected consolidated financial results.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain and improve financial models.
• Prepare and develop presentation materials for senior management, the Board and key stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses with modeling and present findings.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct financial research and economic analysis, benchmarking and competitive landscape assessments.
• Support ongoing business activities and potential strategic transactions with critical thinking and financial analysis.
