Auto-Owners Insurance in Lansing, MI seeks a Corporate Communications Specialist (Assistant Editor) to edit and compose company and affiliate materials, in print and digital formats, and to support communication plans for product launches, change management, crises, and other situations requiring clear messaging.

You will proofread, edit, develop media responses, interview associates, write articles reflecting the company viewpoint, and assist with press releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; journalism/editorial experience preferred.
• Previous writing/editing experience in a corporate or insurance setting is a plus.
• Strong proofreading and grammar skills with attention to detail.
