Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Corporate Accounting Intern for a 10-week Summer Internship Program starting on June 1, 2026. This role is hybrid-based in Princeton, NJ, requiring interns in the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Interns will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting and accounting processes while working closely with multiple accounting teams.

The ideal candidate is a current junior or rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Clearway offers various benefits and is committed to diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting multiple accounting teams in completing general monthly and quarterly close activities.
• Supporting the financial reporting team in the preparation of Q2 2026 Form 10-Q filing.
• Providing support to and communicating with Clearway’s external auditors.
• Helping manage metadata in Clearway’s ERP and Consolidations platforms.
• Contributing to accounting process improvement initiatives.
• Participating in company learning opportunities and events.
