Job summary

GlobalPoint is seeking a Core Java Developer in New York, NY with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite). The role requires hands-on Java development, strong database skills (SQL Server, MongoDB), and experience with integration technologies such as MQ, XML, SOAP and JSON.

You will participate in unit and integration testing, contribute to enterprise architecture discussions, and collaborate with a global delivery team.

Qualifications

• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on developer with strong database skills.
• Core Java developer experience.
• Experience with integration technologies MQ / Xml / SOAP / JSON.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Experience in unit testing and integration testing.
• CI/CD experience with Gradle/Maven, Jenkins and Git.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and OO design.
• Exposure to global delivery teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Optional experience in investment banking.
