Job summary

Thnks is seeking a Controller to ensure the integrity of accounting operations, own the annual budgeting cycle, and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team. You will lead the accounting function, drive GAAP reporting, and strengthen internal controls as the company scales.

Responsibilities include managing daily financial operations, coordinating the budget, and delivering timely financial statements, with a focus on audit readiness and strategic collaboration with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior financial leadership role within a high-growth technology company.
• Active CPA license with strong expertise in GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Outstanding ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial executive leadership.
• Ability to be on-site at our office in Franklin, TN Monday through Thursday to collaborate with operations and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with department heads to align resources with company strategy and goals.
• Produce and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP to the leadership team.
• Communicate regularly with the executive team regarding the company's financial posture, cash flow analysis, and budget-to-actual variances.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and documentation to secure clean financial audits.
• Oversee all tax filings, regulatory compliance, and treasury management.
