Job summary

Versique Consulting & Search is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of a dynamic professional services organization. This role involves managing financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Located in Downtown Minneapolis, MN, the position is hybrid and involves leading the accounting team while fostering partnerships across departments. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting operations, particularly in a leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to financial reporting.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a Controller or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements ensuring compliance.
• Manage cash flow activities and banking relationships.
