Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to support defense programs by managing technical documentation, baselines, and change control throughout the product lifecycle.

This hybrid role out of Tennessee requires DoD experience, CMPro/Teamcenter expertise, and MBSE familiarity. You will coordinate engineering changes, maintain documentation, and support audits and program leadership with status reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supporting configuration management in DoD/aerospace/government environments.
• Experience with CMPro, Teamcenter, Windchill, SharePoint or similar systems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, hardware lifecycle management, or technical data package development.
• Familiarity with ECPs, configuration audits, and release processes.
• Experience with complex systems or defense programs; CM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update configuration baselines for systems, hardware, software, and docs.
• Coordinate review, approval, tracking, and implementation of engineering changes, deviations, and waivers.
• Support CCBs by preparing agendas, documenting actions, and tracking change requests.
• Ensure controlled documents are versioned, released, archived, and distributed.
• Review drawings, specs, manuals for configuration compliance.
• Manage CM data in databases and repositories for data integrity and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, QA, and programs to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist audits by providing configuration status reports and metrics.
• Generate reports on configuration status, change activity, and baseline management.
