Job summary

Public Utilities Commission seeks a Compliance & Performance Management Analyst I in California for a hybrid role, reporting to the Supervisor I. You will provide guidance, analysis, and support on personnel issues, performance management, and hiring in accordance with laws and policies.

The position offers a monthly salary of $3,861.00–$6,464.00 and requires two in-office days per week with possible telework under policy. Final filing date: 11/02/2026.

Qualifications

• Analyst I provides advice, guidance, technical analysis, training, and support on personnel issues and performance management.
• Works under supervision of Supervisor I in accordance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Salary ranges exclude the PLP 2025 pay differential; new state hires start at minimum of classification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on personnel policy and hiring to department management.
• Support management with performance management and compliance concepts.
• Coordinate with leadership and staff to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with rules and policies.
• Maintain and train on Microsoft Office tools.
