Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Hyde Park, Dorchester, West Roxbury, Wellesley, MA seeks a full-time Community Health Educator to conduct outreach, provide health education and coaching, and help people access and navigate the healthcare system.

You will perform basic health screenings, support program development, collect data, and collaborate with healthcare professionals; 40-hour week, 3-4 days in office and 1-2 days remote, with Teams on secure workstation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in community outreach or health education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach to understand health needs.
• Provide health education and coaching to community members.
• Assist in navigating the healthcare system and referrals.
• Provide basic health screenings and identify health risks.
• Assist in developing health promotion programs.
• Collect data and maintain records of outreach activities.
• Attend trainings related to community health promotion and education.
