Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Monroe, MI is seeking a Communications Intern who will support our Communications Department at World HQ. You will participate in projects related to corporate communications and gain hands-on experience while learning about La-Z-Boy's business strategy and processes.

You will be part of a team and contribute across multiple functions throughout the company. This internship requires current enrollment in a four-year Communications degree with 2-3 years completed, strong

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor’s degree program focused on Communications with 2-3 years completed.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a team based environment as well as individually.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) a must.

Responsibilities

• Participation in projects related to Communications.
• Gain hands-on experience within Communications while developing business acumen and knowledge of La-Z-Boy business strategy and processes.
• Be part of the team and obtain experience in a variety of different processes throughout the company!
