Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Trade Control Analyst within the Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities Operations (GFICCO) team in the United States. The role covers end-to-end trade control, confirmation and settlements across GFICCO, including OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non-FICC businesses.

The successful candidate will reinforce trade validation, amendments, and issue resolution while supporting regulatory and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Finance, Engineering or Tech
• 4-5 years Commodities experience
• 4-5 years of line work experience in Middle Office or Trade Control
• Keen desire for learning and intellectual curiosity
• Detail oriented
• Good controls mind set and risk appetite
• Experience working to tight deadlines
• Good communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority
• Excellent organizational skills are required with the ability to priorities daily workload whilst working accurately in a high-energy environment

• Logical approach to problem solving - taking ownership and offering practical solutions

Duties are carried out under general supervision, following established procedures. These individuals may assist more experienced teammates.

The Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities Operations (GFICCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across GFICCO businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses. Within GFICCO, the teams provide multiple services such as GFICCO trade control, settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations. The Commodities Trade Control Team is seeking a Trade Control Analyst to join our growing team. This role supports the expanding Global Commodities business covering multiple products, and instruments. Full technical training will be provided. Our role is focused on supporting the trading desk, and being responsible for trade validation/ reconciliation, trade amendments, regulatory & management reporting, process and risk improvement and issue resolution. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is intellectually curios, keen to develop, and has a great attention to detail all whilst working in a fast paced, diverse and rapidly evolving environment.
