Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. offers a summer internship where students work full-time (40 hours per week) from mid-May through early August.

The program provides on-the-job training with mentorship from experienced engineers and a hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days of remote work. There may be opportunities to continue after the summer on a part-time basis, depending on performance and school schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or sustainability in the built environment
• Basic experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• The ability to receive and absorb technical training with a high level of retention
• Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge to real projects from concept to completion of construction
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers
• Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs
• Conduct site visits to document construction progress and create commissioning documents
