Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. seeks a Client Advisor & Business Insurance Specialist to manage a commercial book, analyze coverages, and advise clients on the best insurance solutions.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, cross-selling products, and maintaining compliance across a hybrid work environment. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in insurance, a Property/Casualty license, and preferred CISR designation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of insurance experience.
• Proficient in agency management systems and processes.
• Applied Epic experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Acord forms and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with commercial clients.
• Provide service and coverage analysis, with recommendations.
• Introduce and promote new products to clients.
• Negotiate with underwriters to meet client needs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
• Deliver strong customer service and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and carrier reps; stay updated on products and market conditions.
• Utilize Agency Management System and MS Office as required.
• Participate in seminars and training for skill development.
