Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an individual contributor to manage commercial claims with moderate to high complexity. You will verify policy coverage, conduct investigations, develop resolution strategies and authorize disbursements within authority limits, while delivering exceptional customer service to insureds and claimants.

This hybrid role requires strong analytical and investigative skills, collaboration with internal and external partners, and timely updates on claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically a minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
• Professional designations are a plus (e.g. CPCU).

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of moderate to high complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Verifies coverage, conducts investigations, and develops resolution strategies.
• Authorizes disbursements within authority limits and negotiates settlements.
• Maintains timely communication with insureds, claimants and business partners and provides regular updates.
