Job summary

North Main Radiation Oncology, a member of The US Oncology Network, seeks a Certified Medical Dosimetrist in a hybrid role based in Providence, RI. Enjoy a 3-day onsite, 2-day remote schedule while contributing to high-quality cancer care.

You will generate radiation therapy plans, delineate anatomy on imaging, perform QA with the medical Physicist, and collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Therapists to ensure accurate treatment delivery.

Qualifications

• CMD certification required.
• MDCB certification required.
• 2+ years of CMD experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiation therapy treatment plans using computer software and imaging modalities.
• Delineate anatomy and positioning on imaging.
• Create compensation filters and beam-modifying devices as needed.
• Perform patient-specific QA under supervision of medical physicist.
• Complete plans accurately and timely based on complexity.
• Adapt to new systems and techniques as they evolve.
• Communicate plan details with physicians and staff.
