Fitch Ratings in Chicago is seeking an Analyst in Structured Finance - CMBS to assess credit strengths and loan structures across US/Canada CRE markets. You’ll apply quantitative analysis and publish detailed rating commentary.

Ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has at least 12 months in CRE underwriting or valuations, and is proficient in Excel and Word. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for role.
• At least 12 months of CRE underwriting, valuing, or workout experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess credit strengths and risks of CRE properties and related loan structures in US/Canada markets.
• Use quantitative skills to analyze property and loan-level characteristics and industry trends.
• Communicate rating conclusions to credit committee.
• Publish detailed transaction reports, rating commentaries and research reports.
