Qualifications

• Combined minimum 8 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design/management/architecture.
• 3+ years of infrastructure, storage, or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS storage and data protection services (S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, AWS Backup, Glacier).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise storage and data protection services in AWS, including S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, and AWS Backup.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code to automate backup, recovery, storage provisioning, and cyber resiliency workflows.
• Build repeatable automation for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, reporting, and policy enforcement.
• Align cloud storage platforms with enterprise standards, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen cyber resiliency with immutable backups, cross-account/region replication, and tested recovery procedures.
• Implement monitoring and reporting for backup success, capacity, cost, and compliance posture.
• Create and maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, application, and operations teams to deliver secure storage solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement, incident response, root cause analysis, and patch cycles.
