The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine seeks a Systems Engineer II to design, secure, operate, and maintain enterprise infrastructure in support of the CIO Office.

You will work across on-prem and cloud environments, manage virtualization, storage, and backup, and ensure security and compliance. A Security+ certification is required; extensive experience qualifies for the stated salary range.

Formación

• Experience in administering and troubleshooting enterprise server and infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of storage, backup, restoration, and DR concepts.
• Linux admin skills plus Windows Server knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
• Familiarity with VMware, Nutanix, Nasuni platforms.
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-171 requirements and AD concepts.
• Strong documentation, security, and lifecycle management practices.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work with multiple teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, secure, operate, and maintain enterprise infrastructure.
• Support virtualization, compute, storage, backup, and recovery environments.
• Participate in security, compliance, and configuration management activities.
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate across IT to support cloud and on-premises environments.
