Job Description

Job Family Definition: Sales Specialists & Consultants lead pursuit in their focus areas, collaborating with Account Managers, supporting campaigns, prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities. They may have assigned accounts or territories.

The Services Sales Consultant sells technology, services, and TMS to end-user customers or partners, focusing on new business or up-selling. They develop customer proposals, understand client challenges, and tailor solutions. They may also handle outsourcing deals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a long-term sales pipeline to increase market share.
  • Identify new opportunities and expand existing ones to build the pipeline.
  • Support Account Managers and contribute to business development strategies.
  • Create reference customers and sell complex solutions on a partnership basis.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships, including with C-level executives.
  • Support account planning and integrate solutions across portfolios.
  • Maintain expertise on IT trends, competitors, and market knowledge.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Proven success in sales with diverse responsibilities, typically 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience in selling Cloud solutions is required.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Deep product, solution, and competitor knowledge to sell complex solutions.
  • Strong consultative and business development skills.
  • Understanding of client business, infrastructure, and financials.
  • Leadership in driving sales, negotiations, and full portfolio management.
  • Excellent project management, partner engagement, and C-level engagement skills.
Additional Skills

Accountability, active listening, creativity, strategic planning, customer experience, and industry knowledge among others.
