Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Cloud Reliability Engineer III to design and implement cloud services, automate routine operations, and improve reliability across our platforms. The role supports Azure-based infrastructure and requires strong scripting and IaC expertise, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in Salisbury, NC and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering or platform operations.
• 5+ years of experience working on Linux based systems.
• Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, azcli, GitHub.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud security concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design reusable cloud modules and reference patterns.
• Implement policy enforcement and configuration baselines.
• Enhance observability and SLO/SLA reporting.
• Execute upgrades, patching, and change windows safely.
• Troubleshoot incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Document standards, runbooks, and golden paths.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams.
• Support escalations during urgent IT incidents.
