Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is hiring a Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with a skilled team to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure with IaC and CI/CD automation.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering in a fast-paced fintech environment, with a hybrid office schedule and opportunities to advance cloud expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
• Hands-on with major cloud platforms; GCP preferred (AWS optional).
• Strong Terraform experience for IaC provisioning and management.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD experience, especially GitHub Actions; automation focus.
• Exposure to data orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow) is a plus.
• Disaster recovery planning and FinOps practices are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and self-serve infrastructure patterns.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
• Manage GCP services: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve reliability and performance issues.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver well-architected cloud solutions.
• Automate tooling to reduce operational toil and document runbooks.
