Job summary

Abile Group seeks a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer for a 10-year contract to support a multi-network, multi-location IC program. You will manage OpenShift in cloud and data center environments, deploy OpenShift at new sites, and work with internal/external teams to integrate platforms while ensuring security compliance.

Candidates should have 5–8 years of developer experience, 8140.01M IAT Level II, and readiness to obtain CI poly.

• Clearance TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• O&M of OpenShift across cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
• Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks (Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps).
• Deploys OpenShift to new sites and scales platforms to meet requirements.
• Collaborates with Security to ensure compliance and secure solutions.
• Supports data services (RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack).
• Compiles detailed documentation.

Job description

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.
• Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.
• Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
• Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
• Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
• Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
• Compiles detailed documentation.

Clearance Required

TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience

• 5-8 years Developer experience.
• 8140.01M IAT Level II certification.

Desired Skills

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Python, Shell scripting, Git.
• Linux distributions RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
• CI/CD orchestration tools GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Container technology Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
