Job summary

Abile Group, Inc is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer for a 10-year contract. You will manage OpenShift across secure environments, deploy to new sites, and collaborate with internal teams and security to maintain compliant, scalable platforms.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility, a technical bachelor's degree, and 5–8 years of development experience, plus OpenShift/AWS expertise. Strong scripting and Linux skills are essential.

Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments.


• Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.


• Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.


• Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.


• Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.


• Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.


• Compiles detailed documentation.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
(Additional Education, Training, Certifications or Work Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience).

• 5-8 years Developer experience.


• 8140.01M IAT Level II certification.

Desired Skills:

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.


• Experience with Amazon Web Services.


• Python, Shell scripting, Git.


• Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.


• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins.


• Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
