Job summary

Armor is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage VMware NSX-T network virtualization solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will architect hybrid connectivity, configure BGP routing, and optimize security and performance in OCI, AWS, and Azure.

The role requires hands-on NSX-T/vSphere experience, strong networking fundamentals, and excellent communication. Hybrid work will be required with on-site presence in Plano, TX, or Pune, India depending on

Qualifications

4+ years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise production environments.
Hands-on with VMware NSX-T and VMware vSphere.
Strong networking fundamentals including BGP routing, L2/L2 VPNs, routing, and network segmentation.
Experience with networking in at least one major cloud platform (OCI, AWS, or Azure) including hybrid connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting, customer-facing support, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware NSX-T network virtualization solutions (micro-segmentation, distributed firewall, automation).
Design and implement networking in OCI, AWS, and Azure with VPCs, VNets, subnets, VPNs, and private connectivity.
Architect and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
Configure and optimize F5 BIG-IP and evaluate open-source load balancing and WAF alternatives where appropriate.
Build and maintain IaC for networking configurations (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM).
Collaborate with SRE, Platform, Security, and Product Engineering teams to improve network security posture.
