Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a hands-on Systems & Network Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The role is onsite in Seattle, WA, and contract-to-hire with US work authorization.

The candidate will design, implement, and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless, while managing Azure VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and load balancing. Strong incident response and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and Azure networking.
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP and enterprise wireless platforms.
• Strong communication, documentation, and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.
• Manage Azure networking, including VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, and load balancing.
• Support hybrid cloud connectivity and network security.
• Configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and lead root cause analysis.
• Maintain network documentation and recommend improvements to performance, security, and reliability.
