Job summary

Savvee Inc. is seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to support a federal client in Silver Spring, MD in a hybrid work model. You will analyze cloud costs, support budgeting cycles, and help optimize spending across cloud platforms while ensuring compliance with federal guidance.

The role requires 15+ years in cloud financial management, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and FinOps tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fifteen+ years of experience in cloud financial management in federal environment.
• Experience with cloud cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and communicate clearly across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support financial oversight of cloud investments to improve cost visibility and compliance.
• Analyze cloud usage and spending to aid budgeting and long-term planning.
• Develop and maintain cost management practices, including budgeting and cost allocation.
• Provide reports and insights on cloud spending for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and program offices on funding strategies.
• Education teams on cost-effective cloud usage and accountability.
