Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years in a lead development and architect role supporting data engineering processes.
• 5+ years of experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, DataStage, Oracle PL/SQL, or SQL Server stored procedures) and SQL.
• 5+ years of data modeling experience for analytical models.
• Experience with BI tools (OBIEE, Oracle BI Publisher, Incorta, or QuickSight).
• Experience with large-scale data structures for BI analytics using ETL/ELT, SQL, and RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop areas for modification in existing programs and test new ones.
• Collaborate with business partners and other technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage evaluation, identification, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• Define, document, and record designs and modifications of applications or software.
• Identify and resolve failures in existing and new software systems.
• Design data models to support analytical and transactional use cases.
• Design real-time and batch interfaces and data pipelines in a cloud-native ecosystem.
• Guide development teams through SDLC phases and provide solution analysis and design.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure best practices are followed.
• Work with IT leadership to design features for the cloud platform.
