IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer / Full Stack Developer TS/SCI to join our hybrid work environment. You’ll collaborate with O&M, product, design and client teams to build secure web-based knowledge repositories and data pipelines across AWS and OpenShift.

This role emphasizes delivering reliable mission data, performance optimization, and secure deployment, with after-hours flexibility and the ability to work across multiple time zones in a client-facing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI and be willing to submit to a government CI polygraph
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines for web apps
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to data flows, APIs, and deployment processes
• Knowledge of secure development practices, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements
• Ability to design, develop, and operate highly available applications across multiple regions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for system, application, data pipeline, and end-user issues
• Analyze application, database, and system performance and take corrective actions
• Assist Tier 2 support teams with resolving complex issues
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and backend services
• Support data migration, transformation, validation, and quality control across AWS/OpenShift
• Monitor health to ensure performance, availability, and reliability
