Job summary

CAI is seeking a Cloud Applications Developer to build MuleSoft integrations on Amazon EKS and create client interfaces through the API Module for key initiatives supporting our client.

This full-time, hybrid role requires onsite work in Trenton, NJ three days per week. The Cloud Applications Developer will deploy, test, and maintain integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Development, including DataWeave.
• Experience deploying applications to Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, PostgreSQL RDS, REST API development, automated testing, and Git-based development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and support MuleSoft integrations running on Amazon EKS for the NJ DCF HR Modernization initiative.
• Develop NJ Client interfaces, REST APIs, DataWeave transformations, and event-driven services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and PostgreSQL (RDS).
• Write automated unit tests, support CI/CD pipelines, maintain documentation, and collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality integrations and successful deployments.
