Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks a Clinician to deliver clinical and education-based treatment across treatment stages in Cheyenne, WY. You will follow practice standards and agency guidelines, providing direct counseling and group education to clients.

The role requires licensure eligibility in Wyoming and strong time management. Expect variable hours, including some weekends, with opportunities for Telehealth and on-site work in a residential/ Outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or related field from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully or provisionally licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAT in Wyoming or eligible for out-of-state licensure.
• Meet qualifications for substance abuse professional per Wyoming standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related desktop software.

Responsibilities

• Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, admission and discharge summaries, and other chart-related documents promptly.
• Provide individual counseling and facilitate educational and counseling groups; chart activities in patient records.
• Develop educational and therapeutic curriculum for group settings with patients and families; include prevention education.
• Assist patients in understanding and completing therapeutic change objective-driven plans.
• Coordinate services with staff, community resources, and referral sources.
• Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and clinical supervision; participate in in-person and Telehealth sessions weekly.
• Other duties as assigned.
