Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Trial Laboratory Coordinator to ensure high-quality protocol execution, compliance, and efficiency in a hybrid work setting at the Texas Medical Center.

The role covers protocol development, QA, specimen collection, LIMS (ARMADA) usage, inventory management, and coordination between lab staff, study teams, and sponsors to sustain trial integrity and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related scientific field
• Master’s Degree preferred in related field
• Two years of experience with clinical research studies or equivalent
• Experience reading clinical protocols, laboratory manuals, amendments, and study documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol execution and quality assurance audits
• Attend site initiation visits and develop collection sheets per protocol
• Collaborate with sponsors on protocol updates, amendments, and compliance
• Train laboratory personnel on protocol changes to ensure standardized processes
• Oversee specimen collection, processing, labeling, and shipment per GCLP
• Maintain trial kit inventory and coordinate with sponsors and Central Laboratory
