Job summary

Culinary Services Group is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva, AL. This PRN role offers flexible weeks onsite and remote work, up to 8 hours per week, with the chance to impact patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, complete comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop personalized care plans, and mentor dietetic interns where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new grads with strong clinical training encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support long-term wellness for patients, families, staff and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in alignment with diet manual and facility policies to ensure high-quality care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training
