Job summary

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a Specialty Claims Associate to handle FSA and HRA claims and deliver exceptional member service on a 8:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

schedule with a hybrid option that allows up to two days' remote work per week. If you have medical billing experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of medical benefits, you will be a strong fit in our Insurance & Financial Services team, contributing to accurate claim adjudication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical billing and claims processing preferred.
• Two years in healthcare or insurance field or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Process FSA and HRA claims accurately.
• Review claim documentation and eligibility.
• Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, fax, and correspondence.
• Re-adjudicate basic claim corrections on the claim software.
• Communicate with members and providers regarding claim status.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation.
