Job summary

Recology Sparks is seeking a Claims Specialist to support workers' compensation, auto liability and general liability claims, with focus on timely intake, investigation, documentation and follow-up. This hybrid role (7:00am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri) requires strong skills in claims handling, DOT/FMCSA driver records and regulatory compliance, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Two years of experience preferred; high school diploma required, Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA and driver records.
• Strong documentation and investigation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists in management of workers' compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims, including intake, documentation, investigation, and follow-up.
• Maintains and updates driver qualification files for CDL and non-CDL drivers in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies.
• Conducts preliminary investigations of workplace incidents and vehicle accidents, gathering statements and reports.
• Supports Claims Manager in preparing reports on injury trends and claims status.
• Assists in internal audits of claims files and driver records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provides administrative support for compliance tracking and safety initiatives.
