Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join a 12-week summer internship in Civil or Structural Engineering in California. You’ll gain hands-on experience on real-world utility projects, paired with a mentor, and build your professional network while making an impact.

The program runs May/June 2027 to August/September 2027. Hybrid work mode; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; relocation not required.

Qualifications

• 2.8 GPA or higher
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with graduation date December 2027 or later

Responsibilities

• Work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector
• Be paired with a mentor and collaborate to apply knowledge and grow skills
• Build your professional network through intern events
• Work with cross functional teams on projects
• Provide ongoing support to grow personally and professionally
• Present your internship project at the annual Intern Expo
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned with your field of study
• Demonstrate effective and open communication
