Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team, offering hands-on experience from concept through completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with feasibility studies, site investigations, and engineering designs, and gain exposure to regulatory processes using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

The role supports undergraduate and graduate candidates, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate project elements.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure project success.
• Provide support in feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project design.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
• Develop engineering designs and work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; learn current standards.
• Prepare technical proposals and documentation for engineering projects.
