Qualifications

• Admission to practice in Michigan is required.
• 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation and/or labor & employment litigation experience.
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Strong organizational, case management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of commercial litigation and labor & employment litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, breach of contracts, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research, assist with litigation strategy, and case analysis.
• Manage discovery, prepare for, and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and witnesses while providing regular case updates and strategic guidance.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex litigation matters.
• Provide proactive case management and client reporting.
