Job summary

10,000 Degrees seeks a Chief Finance & Operations Officer to lead nonprofit finance and enterprise operations from its San Rafael, CA base. This role partners with the CEO and Board to translate strategy into financially sustainable growth and systemic impact.

The CFOO will integrate financial planning, operations, data, and development, building capacity and guiding major initiatives across regions with an emphasis on equity and transparency.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive leadership across finance and operations.
• 3–5 years in an enterprise-level senior role and oversight of budgets of $10M–$20M+.

Responsibilities

• Join SLT and contribute to strategic plan, policy, and financial strategy.
• Liaise with Board Finance, Audit, and Investment committees; present financials and KPIs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance and operations team.
• Oversee internal controls, audits, and compliance; manage risk and governance.
