Job summary

Mindoula Health Inc. is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join the Substance Use Disorder Program in Tennessee. The hybrid role combines remote work with community-based support based out of Haywood, Madison and Crockett counties.

The role requires a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who has completed a recovery program, with compassion, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities to help individuals through various stages of recovery.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who has successfully participated in a recovery program.
• Caring and compassionate with a passion for helping individuals facing substance-exposed living.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify member needs and document interventions based on relationships and assessments.
• Provide support to members in various settings and assist with support groups.
• Contribute to case management meetings to ensure a team approach.
• Complete documentation for member contacts, touches, cancellations and care plans per policies.
• Communicate professionally with members, families, physicians and community partners.
• Follow chain of command in communicating concerns or recommendations.
