Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the Campus Accounting Department operations including financial statements reporting, audits, GL and fund accounting, procard reconciliations, internal controls and compliance
• Coordinate monthly and year-end closes and prepare campus financial statements and supporting analyses
• Provide leadership, develop staff, and communicate policy across campus accounting functions
• Ensure GAAP compliance and interpretation/application of University financial policies
• Assess developments affecting the University and propose action plans to management
